PCWS Clergy and Staff

Rev. Dan Robertson, Pastor and Head of Staff

The Reverend Dan Robertson, also known as Pastor Dan, began serving at PCWS in 2023. He approaches ministry with love and care for all people, focusing especially on community building and family ministry.

Dan sees his personal life and his service to the church guided by our sacraments of Baptism and Communion. In Baptism, God claims us as we enter into a covenant of grace and are transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit. In Communion, we proclaim that Christ is enough. Therefore, each of us are God’s children and worthy of love and community. For Dan, Communion is really about pulling up chairs for others to join the table.

In bringing his family to Western Springs, Dan also shared 14 years of ministry experience in Kansas City (his hometown), San Francisco, New Orleans and Fairbury (in Central Illinois).

Dan is well accustomed to the Midwest and fully experiencing all four seasons – sometimes in the same day. You will often find him outside all year spending time with his family, or in the kitchen preparing a family meal. He’s a lifelong learner and enjoys conversations about pretty much anything, but especially lights up about cooking, basketball, boating, board games, and family.

You can reach Dan during the week by email at pastordan@presbyws.org or by calling the church office and setting up an appointment – 708-246-5220.
